What is a traffic exchange?
A traffic exchange is an online service where website owners trade traffic. When you view pages submitted by other Egyptian Hits members, you earn credits that can be used to send those members to your own website.
How do I receive hits to my website?
Log in and select Surf from the members-area menu. You earn credits as you view other members' sites. Assign those credits to an approved site in your account, and it will begin receiving views.
How do advertising credits work?
Credits represent traffic you can assign to your submitted websites. You can earn them by surfing and may receive them through other offers or account benefits available on Egyptian Hits. A site needs assigned credits and an enabled status to remain in rotation.
Why is my site not receiving traffic?
Check that your site has been approved, is enabled rather than paused, and has credits assigned to it. Also confirm that its URL loads correctly and follows the site's advertising rules.
Can I promote more than one website?
Yes. The number of sites and advertisements you can add depends on your membership level. You can review and manage them from your members area.
Are the visitors real people?
Yes. Traffic is generated by active members viewing pages through the surf system. As with any advertising, results vary, so use a clear, fast-loading landing page with a focused call to action.
Do I need to verify my email address?
Yes. Email verification helps protect your account and ensures you receive important account messages. Complete verification promptly after signing up to keep your account active.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the Lost Password link on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your registered email address. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if the message does not appear.
